Hosted by ICA, W Journal, and Christian Louboutin, the occasion was a uncommon mixture of stylish, relaxed, inventive, and spirited—with the sorts of sudden touches that make for a very memorable evening. Louboutin, Campbell, W Editor-in-Chief Sara Moonves, and ICA Creative Director Alex Gartenfeld welcomed visitors poolside to a rooftop backyard overlooking the Intracoastal Waterway. The group kicked off their four-inch heels and washed down bites of arancini and truffle risotto with coupes of black diamond margaritas and chilled champagne by Grasp Dobell Tequila. On the boat dock, French DJs Duo Polo and Pan captivated the gang with their signature mixture of digital, home and tropical beats – the right combine for a heat Florida evening.
Attendees included Ebney, fellow artists Eboni Patterson, Zoe Buckman, ThankUx, Chloe Clever, Tyler Mazaheri, Austin Weiner and Aaron Younger; gallerists Vito Schnabel and Sinisa Mackovic; designer Lazaro Hernandez; multihyphenate fashions Karolina Kurkova, Deion Hinton, Devon Windsor, Daniela Botero, Preetika Swarup; trend executives Hassan Pierre and Laure Herriard-Dubrei and musician Quincy Brown. As DJs cranked up the amount and a bunch of followers started dancing on the dock, Jared Leto was seen trying out the scene and chatting with artwork world insiders concerning the upcoming slate of exhibitions. In the meantime, two relaxed canines the scale of small ponies, leashed by a dapper, bearded man with an earpiece, are generally seen across the perimeter of the social gathering, pleased laughter and the occasional picture distinction.
By the tip of the evening, a welcome shock appeared within the driveway: a gelato cart serving a wide range of scrumptious conventional and vegan flavors. Visitors heading out to satisfy their automobiles made pit stops for cups and cones – candy treats to savor a night.
